Friday, April 2nd, 2027You're getting to see Alaska, now let's taste Alaska! Please join us for a laid back night before our nuptials with some of the Alaskan staples - salmon, halibut, and fry bread!

Saturday, April 3rd, 2027Gather under the canopy of the Tongass National Forest in the Sitka National Historical Park to celebrate our love while we exchange vows.

Saturday, April 3rd, 2027Join us in dancing the night away at the historic Odess Theatre. Come eat, drink, and be merry!

Sunday, April 4th, 2027Join us on one of our Allen Marine Tours vessels to take in the sights of the Sitka Sound! You never know what you might find, whales, otters, or bears (oh my)!Brunch bar will be provided on the vessel.This is a casual outing, so wear comfy shoes and bring a ran jacket and your camera!

Madalyn's ring is an heirloom that was her abuelita's engagement and wedding ring. Madalyn was extremely close with her abuelitos (paternal grand parents) during her childhood. She, and her brother Jacob, would spend nearly everyday after school at their house while their parents were working.

We’d love for our guests to wear semi-formal attire in a shade of blue or teal.Gentlemen: a suit or blazer with dress pants.Ladies: a midi-length cocktail dress or dressy separates are ideal.Please keep in mind our wedding is in Sitka, Alaska on April 3, 2027 — spring in Southeast Alaska often means rain and uneven ground. Consider comfortable, weather-ready shoes (think dressy boots or Xtratufs rather than stilettos) and a jacket or wrap for warmth.

Other Events

All other events have a casual dress code. With it being spring time in Southeast Alaska, we recommend layers as the weather is unpredictable. Think jeans, closed toe shoes (boots, sneakers, etc) layerable tops, and sweatshirts or coats.

We know that many of you will have traveled long and far to make it to our wedding, and we are so thankful for it! Sitka has just one small airport and flight options can be kind of limited as Alaska Airlines is the only airline that flies in and out. Most of the time, flights from Seattle (SEA) do what we call the "milk run," leaving Seattle, making a stop in Ketchikan, then Sitka, then continuing up to Juneau. While Sitka is avery walkable town, it would be helpful to have a rental car. We have an Avis in addition to Turo and ride-share apps. Here is a list of hotels here in Sitka, and we have a room block at the Aspen Suites.

We have a hotel room block at the Aspen Suites Hotel Sitka. There are rooms with 1 queen bed and a sofa sleeper and rooms with 2 queen beds in our group block. All units are air-conditioned with a fridge, a microwave, a coffee machine, a shower, free toiletries, a flat-screen TV with cable channels and DVD player. With a private bathroom equipped with a bath and a hairdryer, rooms at Aspen Suites Hotel Sitka also feature free WiFi, while some rooms also feature a city view. All rooms feature a desk. Free private parking and a business center are available, as well as a 24-hour front desk. Sitka Rocky Gutierrez Airport is 1.9 miles from the property.
